  • Second hand car purcgasr

Hi. Hope you can help. I had to hand my mobility car back in January this year as I didn't get enhanced on Pip after being on dla since 2012,ive heart failure. Anyway I've managed to save some money and got a 55 plate Ford fiesta. The garage was a bit economical with the truth I've found out. I'm trying to get the mot cert, I've taxed n insured it. I went on experian car check to find out the mot done end of year states advisory both coil springs corroded (same advisory year before). The garage have given me a 3mth warranty will this be covered? Or they've sold me a car not road worthy as they can go anytime, they were aware. Please advise. Thankyou

"states advisory both coil springs corroded (same advisory year before)."

An advisory is just that. It is not a failure but a warning that a component is showing signs that it will be required to be exchanged in the future.

Corrosion on coil springs usually just indicates that the projective coating has failed and that there is rust on the springs.

If unsure get a mechanic to investigate.
