Wren kitchens blaming contractors and say I have to claim against them

I just had a wren kitchen fitted by their staff, during the fitting they caused a leak which has ruined my flooring, after 9 months, the kitchen is still not fitted properly, and they say they have no liability for my flooring, and I must take the issue up with their contractors . I never signed a contract with the fitters, or chose them, they were selected by wren and paid by wren, so why are they not liable.
