  • Sex discrimination

    Hi everybody,

about a month ago I was dismissed because of something that I didn't even do. I have been with my employer for less than 2 years, I realise I don't have an unfair dismissal claim but I would like to claim for sex discrimination, because a female colleague of mine was in the same situation did a more serious thing and she went through this whole process investigations etc, while I was just notified by email I shouldn't come back to work. I know it's been a month but I've been so depressed and upset I can't even begin to describe it. I tried to get in contact to Acas but every time I rang when I wanted to talk about what happened I would get a panic attack. I did get in touch with a solicitor which told me I have a case but asked for a lot of money which I don't have. I was thinking about emailing my employer directly. What do you advise ? Thank you from the bottom of my heart
