  • help to understand my rights

Hi, I have found all the info on here extremely helpful but could do with some help to know where I stand. I have just found out that my account is overdrawn even though I do not have an arranged overdraft. I am in the process of trying to sort fraudulent activity in my name. As I said my account is overdrawn and tomorrow my child benefit is due to be paid into my account, I am a single parent on benifit an cannot afford for the bank to take all my money as I need to top up my pre pay gas and electricity aswell as needing to buy food for the children. Is there anything I can do to prevent the bank taking this money and leaving me with both?
