  • Speeding charge court attendance adivce required.

I have recently been notified that I have been charged by post with failing to notify of the driver of my vehicle at the time of a speeding offence and the speeding offence its self. There are reasons for this out of my control and I will be contesting this at Court. however I want to know Magistrates powers and whether or not they can send me for the speed awareness course and negate a fine due to the circumstances?

Average fine costs and victim surcharge imposed by magistrates in my area total around 800 pounds they wanted the name of the driver not interested in your reasons for withholding it
