Voluntary Termination of an HP agreement - fair wear and tear

I have a question about "fair wear and tear" when a vehicle is returned as a Voluntary Termination. If a windscreen has been chipped but has been repaired (rather than replaced) by Autoglass but the chip is still visible even though repaired, would this be seen as a defect that needs to be repaired again/windscreen replaced? Appreciate your view
