VT Excess mileage charge on PCH

I’ve returned the leased vehicle early and paid the remaining balance on the agreed. Two months after returning the leased vehicle the company that collected the car acting on behalf of the Mercedes Benz financial services is looking to invoice me for 15k extra mileage. Is this excessive mileage charge legally enforceable for PCH contracts. There was no damage invoice as the inspection reported confirmed that and the car has been kept in very good condition.
