    Hi Guys,

    It's happened... I finally received a Claim from a Creditor
    It would be great if I can get some advice/knowledge as this is the first claim I've had raised against me..
    The details are as follow.....


    Received a claim? Yes
    Issue Date: 10 April 2018
    Have you Acknowledged the Claim?: Yes
    Total Amount Claimed: £965
    Claimant’s Name: Motormile Finance UK LTD
    Solicitors Firm: Moriarty Law
    Original Creditor: CASHEURONET LLC T/A QUICKQUID
    Original Debt (eg. Credit card/Loan/Overdraft) : Payday Loan

    Particulars of Claim:
    THE DEFENDANT OWES THE CLAIMANT £773.15 UNDER A REGULATED LOAN AGREEMENT WITH CASHEURONET LLC T/A QUICKQUID DATED 14/11/2013 AND WHICH WAS ASSIGNED TO THE CLAIMANT ON 01/12/2016 AND NOTICE OF WHICH WAS GIVEN TO THE DEFENDANT ON THE 01/12/2016 (DEBT). DESPITE FORMAL DEMAND FOR PAYMENT OF THE DEBT THE DEFENDANT HAS FAILED TO PAY AND THE CLAIMANT CLAIMS £773.15 AND FURTHER CLAIMS INTEREST THEREON PURSUANT TO SECTION 69 OF THE COUNTY COURT ACT 1984 LIMITED TO ONE YEAR TO THE DATE HEREOF AT THE RATE OF 8.00% PER ANNUM AMOUNTING TO £61.85

    List any letters you have sent (eg: CCA/ CPR ) - No letter sent as of yet but I am going to send them ASAP

      Have you submitted a defence ? Am not an expert but their is plenty on this site with some really good advice. Have you submitted and affordability complaint to the original lender ?
      did you receive notice of assignment - this can be part of your defence also if not.
