Advice needed Lowell pre legal assement letter

Hi there. I am new to this group and would like some advice please.
I have received a pre legal assessment letter from lowell. The debt relates to a studio catalogue for £2200. I have been paying studio a reduced rate of £5 up untill mid last year. Now I am recieving lowell letters. Should I pay?

I am unsure when I had taken out this debt maybe within the past 10 years.

I forgot to add. I am in no financial position to pay the amount in full could I offer a reduced amount ?
