More details will be required before anyone can assist you, please post up any correspondence received (personal details redacted) also the circumstances, do not identify the driver.

Sorry i'm just thinking out loud, it might be irrelevant, I am not employed in anyway in the legal profession, please ensure you research any advice I give before using it I have been known to be wrong on multiple occasions.

I have just opened these letters this week, they were send the back end of 2017, due to 2 family bereavements i haven't been living at my home address. A few people used my car around this time I have no idea who was the driver, and now its passed to a collections agency I haven't got that letter with me at the moment. Is there anything I can do about this

Don't worry about the debt collectors they can do nothing. I can't read those pcns. Save them on a photo hosting web site and include the link on here. Leave the dates readable

OK, reading the charge notice they have not complied with the requirements of POFA to hold the keeper liable, in fact great chunks of the wording that must be included are missing.

              Simple Bogoff

              Dear Sirs,

I am the keeper of vehicle XXXXXX and am in receipt of your Charge notice XXXXXX

You have failed to comply with the requirements of Schedule 4 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 by failing to include in the notice those items that 9 (2) states must be included. With these failures you cannot therefore hold me, the keeper, liable for the actions of the driver at the time. I decline your request to identify that driver as there is no legal requirement to do so.
I do not expect to hear from you again about this matter, other than to confirm that no further action will be taken and my details have been removed from your records.

They may not go away but should give you a POPLA code. Appealing to POPLA on the same lines will make it go away.

For reference here's the link to POFA With no windscreen ticket then paragraph 9 applies.the Notice must contain all the items specified in 9 (2)

Now that DRP are involved then just ignore unless you get a letter before claim or an actual court claim. The time limit is purely of their own making.

The fact that DRP have offered a "reduced" figure shows how sure they are of their claim.
