    Hi all

I am new here and would like some help
my car was cloned last june and a number pcns and speeding
tickets was racket up the previous owner made me aware just after I bought the car as there was a delay for the logbook
coming through a cad number was issued from police at the time of incidents my local police visted me to explain the situation and to confirm they had stopped my cloned car but thr offender escaped in the meantime the Welsh police contacted me and with me sending Info to them to prove I was not at fault with fines as car cloned etc they dropped my charges I thought it was all done and dusted until Feb this year when I received a letter from bailiffs asking for unpaid pcn to brent council I rang them to explain and sent a email to back it up was told to seek legal advice so I sent Brent council all documents Including cad number and letter from police but the bailiffs have given me 7 days to pay etc can anyone advise please

    many thanks

The Bailiffs are only doing as they have been instructed and will continue to do so until their creditor - Brent Council - advise them otherwise. In the meantime you should make an Out of Time to the Traffic Enforcement Centre which if nothing else may halt enforcement action to try and sort this out.
