What I am about to say should have some precedence but I've been searching online for a while and couldn't quite find anything similar to it - so I'll ask it here in hopes that it can get answered.
I am 18 years of age. I've recently bought a vaporiser with some of my own money which was given to me a while back and that I've held on to, me being 18 gives me the right to buy it and use it under the law. I have used this vaporiser to do various tricks and the taste is pleasing - but that is besides the point. Today it has been taken away by my father through his justification of 'This will lead you to smoking'. I don't even want to delve into that statement but let's talk legality here; I didn't tell my father I bought it because I am now classed as an adult and must be treated as such, whenever it is used it is used outdoors which defeats the whole 'under his roof' purpose as well and, it being bought with my own money, I hold full ownership of that device and I'm pretty sure that this is totally wrong in the eyes of the law.
I would appreciate guidance on just how correct I am in regard to this, in my eyes (and I am going to study law next year so I have SOME background knowledge of what is right and what isn't) this is totally incorrect. At this moment in time my vaporiser should be right where it was before my father took it - am I correct?
Thanks.
