Hope somebody can help me out with this,
After receiving a CCJ judgement in my absense over 5 years ago, I have now received an application for attachment of earnings letter from the county court money claim centre.
The background to the CCJ was originally a 250 pound credit card debt sent to a previous address, I was unaware of the CCJ etc. until it was too late to pay and have it removed etc.
I have since received letters from arrow global or drysdens whoever it is, although not stating what the debt was for I did not believe I owed them it as they wouldn't tell me.
Anyway, I am now faced with a letter threatening prison if I don't pay or to contact my employer but I could do with any advice regarding who to pay or how to record the payment etc. I have read that Arrow Global (Guernsey) Limited are unlicensed yet are still named on the letter.
Also is there any way I can get around the attachment issue fee as I can pay the money, I'm very concerned about the threat of prison / contacting my employer.
Please see letter, any help is much appreciated, thanks in advance.
