  • Stanley3 - Bank Smart

So interesting to read all the threads on Bank Smart ! Our son has been harassed by this company since cancelling with them as they were unable to find any money for him It all started in 2012 and he has been invoiced for £2000 because of cancellation claims and yet nothing was mentioned about this in their terms and conditions. Now he has been threatened with court proceedings Would be grateful for any advice please.

      Hiya

Ideally your son needs to make a formal complaint so that if they don't back down it can then be taken to the Legal Ombudsman.

Also I can put him in touch with the investigating officer at the Claims Management Regulator who may take his case up directly with Bank Smart.

Thank you ! We're just putting a letter of complaint together Our son did complain directly to Bank Smart in June 2014 Unfortunately the Legal ombudsman will not investigate because our son had received a final response from the company more than 6 months ago

Ok, I assume your current issue is essentially an updated and unresolved version of the original complaint?

If it's ok I'll e-mail you (using whatever address you registered on Beagles with) something from the Claims Management Regulator and explain how we can put you in touch with them.
