Hi, today I purchased a second hand land rover freelander which was advertised with air con. Having got the car home it appears that the car does not have air con. Do I have any rights. Many thanks

Have you got a copy of the advert, it would help?
Write to the dealer telling them under the consumer Rights Act 2015 you are rejecting the car as it is not as described. You expect your money to be returned.
Send this first class post and get fre proof of posting from a Post Office
See what they offer as an alternative solution.Comment

If the vehicle was purchased from a dealer I'd agree with [MENTION=39331]ostell[/MENTION].
If it was a private seller the situation is more problematic.Comment
