  • Yr 11 boys suspended following an innocent Pe accident

    Good morning
im new here so I’m hoping this is the right place to start.
My son was involved in an unfortunate accident during pe. He went in for a tackle with a terrible outcome. The boys ankle was broken. It’s a very sporty school and the same injury occurred with a different pair of boys the week before during a rugby match. The rugby match was being watched by the teachers and they could tell it was innocent so nothing came of it. My son’s pe football game was not being supervised. The teachers were over the other side of the field. As a result the school have asked a handful of boys who do not get on with my son and said it was done with intent. They did not record any reports that were in favour of my son. As a result my son has been suspended for 4 days due to a reckless tackle. I believe the school are using him as a scape goat to deflect their negligence. I have a meeting with the head master later today just really wanted to equip myself with as much info as possible

Is this a state school or a private school?

    Is it in England?
