Just bought my Christmas Tree from the market and the man said I should give it plenty of light and water and he would even come and take it away for me come February! What a great deal and nice young man he was!!

I Think they call that a Californian/Dutch xmas tree, And you would probably end up merry after decorating that.

Although, to be honest, i think if they put one of them up in our town centre it wouldn’t last very long before it looked like a xmas twig

Dear boys and girls,

Christmas is a very exciting but busy time for me: the elves are making toys, the reindeer are practising their sleigh runs, and I'm busy preparing my list of who's been good this year.

Beware the Black Friday bargains you can’t return: 30 day deadline will run out on Christmas Day

• The online automatic 14 day returns deadline will lapse on December 9
• Many retailers voluntarily offer a longer returns period over Christmas
• People need to check before they hand over cash or press 'buy' online

Shoppers snapping up Black Friday bargain gifts have been warned they may find it difficult to return them after Christmas.
The returns deadline rules, which ensure people are legally entitled to an immediate and full refund on faulty goods, run for 30 days.
But, with Black Friday falling on November 25, this means this automatic refund guarantee will lapse on Christmas Day.
As a result, the parents of a child who finds their expensive toy does not work when the wrapping comes off may be hit with red tape rules when they try to sort it out.
The law covering the right to return goods and the legal obligations of retailers are covered by the Consumer Rights Act of 2014.
It states that where people discover an item is faulty more than 30 days after purchase, the retailer can choose to offer a repair or replacement. And it is only after a repair fails that a customer can then insist on getting all their money back

I've found that assassinating your family just before Christmas saves you time and money. It means you save on buying Christmas presents and having to be polite to family members you just hate. Furthermore, after Christmas, when their bodies have been found, it saves you years and years of rent and you get your own cushy pad(some people call it a cell) with a regular routine. Providing you don't admit to being remorseful you can save yourself the need to look for any new place. Only downside is that holidays would not be affordable and would be unattainable unless you were rude to your neighbours and the cleaners who have a set of keys for your room. If that happens you can go and have a solitary holiday with a new "home".
