    The Chernobyl disaster happened in Ukraine, lets spare a thought for the thousands of people who sacrificed their own lives to limit the danger posed by this potential world wide threat.

        Aye it was, there was a fascinating documentary about it on discovery science, it was saying that a harmless dose of radiation is 2 roentgens (a way of measuring ionizing radiation)an hour and those sent in to clean up where receiving upwards of 7500 roentgens an hour, considering 100 R`s on hour is considered extremely hazardous.
