    This is a bridge we go under when we go to the caravan, in over 5 years we have only been diverted through a flood on 4 occasions and not for anyhting of this scale

      That is deceiving, as the little lad stood there makes it look not too deep. In fact there is a big drop in the road going under the bridge so even looking at the bus stop you get an idea of how deep it actually is. Maybe not a slap as this has gone viral and proves the only people who do need a slap are the ones who should be looking at our flood defences etc.

        Yes..............I can walk to that in about twenty minutes from my bungalow, the authorities had to stop motorists driving down our lane for sight seeing purposes.
