Reported very on the BBC News this morning.
An RAF Officer being treated in A & E in a Margate hospital is asked if he would move
as His Uniform May Offend Other Patients!!
Someone in that hospital should be sacked. I suspect that had a muslim in the full cover costume been asked
the same question all hell would have broken out and the thought police and the Beeb would be " outraged and disgusted"!!

Soldier in uniform refused to be served a pub in yorkshire, Teso etc,etc because it might offend muslims??e

Why do people believe this garbage

Most civilian hospitals in millitary towns have a whole floor where they treat injured service personel since the government decomissioned the military hospitals

We had the pleasure of having a lady muslim in full garb in our swimming baths, quite off putting to be honest watching her floating about, but dare we say owt? dare we ell as like.

A service man/ or woman's uniform represents service to Queen and Country people who fight for and defend this country and it's citizens.

Unfortunately I've been subject to this kind of abuse in the past it happens all to often.
BTW I did not mention anything about any individual muslim or other regarding the hospital incident.

I just wondered what the response would have been if a muslim woman had been asked to move because of the " costume".

The real world judge mental not the la la land og the Grauniad and the BBC.

I hope the service man politely told them where to go as for Full muslim dress if its legal to wear a certain type of clothes be you muslim or anybody I see nothing wrong

How about Tesco refuse to serve soldier because it may offend muslims

The individual involved was a right wing nut Steven Sodholmy and his publication the Daily Bale. He was haulled before the courts because of this. All the usual gutter press ran these stories with a subtle Alleged caption in very small print.

The worry is that people are to easy influenced as fact just because it is sensatinalised in the media, later nothing more than BS and lacking any aplogy in print.

Margate is not exactly what you'd call an "Asian ghetto" or a hotbed of diversity. The Isle of Thanet is, for the most part, white, largely British, and most foreigners are probably fairly recent Eastern European immigrants and the usual Asian shopkeepers/takeaway owners who've lived in the UK for ages. I can't see any of those groups being offended by a RAF uniform!

Stop the daft prattle the service personell are being verbally abused and threatened and if any thing is said about how disgusting it is the bleeding hearts start to waffle about the abusers rights.
