In case anyone notices I've gone quiet and is worried, I have gone on holiday.
Originally we planned to go camping, in tents, with the kids. I love being under canvas. We only go to Swanage, lovely, pretty place, far enough to be away from home, but not a long journey.
I didn't believe the weather reports of wind, rain and snow - yeah right! It's just the weather men wanting clear roads for their travels!
Then it snowed here!
Snow in Bournemouth??!
It doesn't snow here in the middle of winter.
So now we are going to hire a caravan.

So, just to let you know, in case you worry about me.

All packed, kids got their toothbrushes and clean pants etc so we are off - just need to pry OH from some antique programme. He does not believe in time!
I aimed for 12, so not too bad.

We are back.
Had a lovely time, best bit was remembering this is the holiday with the kids, the next one is the holiday without!! Hooray!!!!
Hired a caravan for £109 for four nights, which was amazingly cheap. One place wanted over £300. The weather wasn't too bad, hailed one day and rained a couple of times. Today we had to be out by 10 o'clock so planned to go to Corfe Castle, but it poured down so were back home by 11.
Good to have a break, I did no cooking or washing up whatsoever!!!!
Remembered you all and brought back rock for you
