This is how I see it, not being the sharpest knife in the drawer please put me right in 'simples' if I am a mile away from the truth.

Well if you are not the sharpest knife then I am positively spoon like!

Despite many corporations being in the spotlight recently for avoiding tax most of those using the UK as their European base do pay their way. They also offer employment. One major European packaging company has invested millions in this country but will pull out if we leave the EU. That would leave thousands of people out of work and the knock on effect on local suppliers and services would be catastrophic.

Now I know wherever I go in Europe I will find two types of bars. An Irish one and an English one. I remember the really hard years here when European building sites and factories were awash with migrant workers from the UK. Even now many students go abroad for ‘working holidays’ and yes the grey pound may be spent abroad but they are over there because they struggle with both the climate and the cost of living in this country.
When it comes to the law, well time and again we have seen people having to go to the European court to get Justice. Now there are a lot of crank cases but on the whole they have been justified complaints. It is diabolical but I honestly cannot trust Westminster and the Supreme Court. If I felt my human rights had been violated by a government body or state funded organisation I would feel that a group of Judges in The Hague would be more likely to reach an impartial decision. I just cannot get past the feeling that when it comes to the UK many important cases have been decided over a port at Whites or Boodles on a ‘you scratch my back’ basis. I also worry about some of the draconian laws the UK have implemented in the ‘not too distant past’. America may sing about freedom and liberty but their human rights record and the impact on many countries is shocking. Their influence on the UK is bad enough. Imagine how bad things would be if we did not have the weight of Europe behind us.

It seems that a pretty large number of Big Business Bosses feel that quitting the EU will
have little or no effect on the UK's trading with Europe something that I personally agree
with as UK businesses are already largely complying with EU regs. they can continue with
all the safety/quality requirements just as well out of the EU as in.

What is essential in any negotiation on membership is the scrapping of the " Umun rights" convention
and a UK Bill of rights to replace it.
Uk law on immigration and UK criminal law must take precedence over anything the EU " courts"
may want to impose on the UK.

Punishment must Fit the Crime to UK standards without interference from Europe.

The EU interferes greatly in my function elsewhere and most of it's interference show s
that the EU " Law Makers " have no understanding of the " real world" and UK MEPs
are to bloody idle to protest.
