What really annoys me is the fact that so many unsavoury groups have hi jacked the cross of St. George flag /emblem and as a result English people are worried they will ‘offend’ someone, somewhere if the hang out the bunting or in any way celebrate. I have noticed that there is a bigger hoop la for St. Patricks day in the UK then there is for St. George’s day. Why? When will the apologising stop and a bit of national pride trickle in. Being proud of your nationality and celebrating your culture and heritage does not make you a racist.
An optimist is someone who falls off the Empire State Building, and after 50 floors says, 'So far so good'!
