You have to see how darling acted in those first few days after the collapse. We could have done a lot worse, a lot lot worse. If the current lot would have been inb, the systen would have collapsed..

Salmond was just spitting sound bites instead of giveing answers. My concern is what has the current bunch already agreed to for the rest of us brits if they do say yes. We would have to move all jobs this side of the boarder

Politicians seldom answer anything so that's not news.

The Q&A section was destined to be a farce from inception. The fact the host was useless didn't help.

After a double dip recession that we are just wriggling out of now, is this really the time to financially put the spanner in the works? I can understand how a lot of English/Welsh folk are miffed about not having a say in this situation. On the flip side how many times in history have decisions been made in Westminster without the Scots having a say either? Two wrongs don't make a right. We have, in my opinion, been making great progress with having more of a say in our own welfare, do we really need more than this?

The question isn't do we need it imo, it's whether we want it and whether it'll improve things.

              Re: Scottish Independence

I don't understand how anybody thinks nothing has been carefully thought out and planned by the Independents. Do you think this was just thought up around a few drams in the local pub. Of course it has been thought out and all plans for independence put into place.

Of course all economic and social problems won't disappear overnight, but at long last we actually have a chance of doing something about them.

The banking and financial institutions in the south already have to work under Scottish law, so why should that change now?

But then again if we stay in a union what chance have we got with people like this? http://newsnetscotland.com/index.php...sation-company. Of course they want to privatise the NHS.

Westminster is promising things will be better for Scotland if we vote no, what I can't understand is why aren't things better now? Why do we have to threaten to leave before they will make things better? Then again who believes anything the tories say. On one hand they say things will be better and then it get leaked that punitive measures will be taken against us.

I believe in our country, I believe we have the intelligence, strength and means to make Scotland into a fantastic country.

More reasons why I'll be voting YES.

The only bit I find scary is that the chap's name is Crawford Beveridge.:eek2:
No, no no. If you want to be taken seriously as an independent country; Crawford has to go!!!msl:

Thanks Paws. I knew about this. The No campaign has just been a series of scare stories. If they are going to try and punish us for voting yes, then I'm afraid we won't play nice either.

As for Crawford, I have a soft spot for the name, I had a dog called Crawford. Okay I never gave him the name, I adopted him from the SSPCA and he already had the name.

I actually hope you go for it. Maybe it’s my Celtic blood, I don’t know. My father’s cousin Played for Celtic many years ago and I think I still have distant relations up there. Love Glasgow; they all call my husband ‘big man’ which he loves.
I do not know of a single country that gained independence and had all the answers right off the bat. At least you won’t have a civil war like Ireland and India!

That’s why we call Glasgow, ‘Belfast Light’
