I appreciate what you're saying, but posts 1 and 3 here provide two different examples (or links to examples) which answer the OP's thread absolutely perfectly. I fail to understand why once again my posts have been removed from the discussion or ignored.

Just to attempt clear this up

50(1)Proceeds from the exercise of an enforcement power must be used to pay the amount outstanding.E+W
(2)Proceeds are any of these—
(a)proceeds of sale or disposal of controlled apply to it.goods;
(b)money taken in exercise of the power, if paragraph 37(1) does not
(3)The amount outstanding is the sum of these—
(a)the amount of the debt which remains unpaid (or an amount that the creditor agrees to accept in full satisfaction of the debt);
(b)any amounts recoverable out of proceeds in accordance with regulations under paragraph 62 (costs).

Costs are


62(1)Regulations may make provision for the recovery by any person from the debtor of amounts in respect of costs of enforcement-related services.E+W
(2)The regulations may provide for recovery to be out of proceeds or otherwise.
(3)The amount recoverable under the regulations in any case is to be determined by or under the regulations.
(4)The regulations may in particular provide for the amount, if disputed, to be assessed in accordance with rules of court.
[B](5)“Enforcement-related services” means anything done under or in connection with an enforcement power, or in connection with obtaining an enforcement power, or any services used for the purposes of a provision of this Schedule or regulations

Nor me-I simply told the truth-That a NOROIROA worked perfectly for me.

AND that was only because the bailiff did not understand the law. There is no minimum IQ required to become a baillif, or to post on a forum :tinysmile_aha_t:

Starving tax payer. this is to you... please be a bit more considerate of the following
1. This site in particular, people can be quite desporate for good news in debt situations, and are more likley to take in whats said, however bonkers it sounds. the OP in this thread, simply asked if the fees could be avoided. Some very cleaver and altruistic people on here have taken the time, not only to simply answer him, but to point to the relevant legislation so he can also make his own mind up. Yopu seem to be arguing with the posters, not offering your advice to the OP
2. Refairing to posters as sheeple, just because they all agree with some sound and reasoned arguments,, is just plain rude... AM NOT AGAINST A GOOD DEBATE. THATS HEALTHY... but not on other peoples threads, theres the lounge forum for off topic or discussion. start a NOROIROA'#@#~'##~ollks thread on there so everyone can have and give a view. :boink:

Nor me-I simply told the truth-That a NOROIROA worked perfectly for me. I didn't advise anyone else to use it yet they banned me. If I didn't know better, I'd have thought bailiffs may have had an input to that board.

No idea-I've never really given it much thought TBH.

What do you think he will do? go round with a baseball bat & collect his money? Theres no provision for further payments in any case so a begging bowl might be a good shout. I'd guess he'd soon get tired after a couple of abortive (& unpaid visits)
