    Gardening Thread

Hi guys, hope you don't mind to much, but gardening isn't my strong point.
I did miss the gardening thread from over the road.

And my Cherries are pathetic again this year!

I made the decision to prune my three apples trees this year.
So, went out and bought a telescopic pruner, which made life a bit safer, as opposed to the impossible of climbing up a wobbly ladder.

Anyhow, job almost done and hopefully I have not snipped off to much!?

Time will tell and hopefully next year the trees will provide a better crop of apples than this one.

Another little tip learnt for hanging baskets that may be useful

    -Fill the basket with compost--
-cut holes in a wide flattish black plant pot
-fill the plantpot with compost and place it upturned on the basket
-plant up with Busy Lizzies especially tho holes in pot

    Thus:
