Today we went to a meeting at the local Town Hall, the meeting was arranged for ten this morning by the person we saw.
It was arranged over the phone last week, so not a last minute arrangement.
We arrived a little early (as always I do hate being late). The chap came to greet us at about 5 past so up to now all is fine.
He took us in an office and we sat round a desk, the desk was wet
so off the man toddles to find a cloth to wipe the desk.
Then he checked a list to make sure the room wasn't pre-booked lol, "No" he said all is ok, so we set about the business we had gone for.
Within 5 minutes of talking a knock at the door lol and a lady says "Sorry but I have pre-booked this room for ten" lol
So we had to leave that room after picking up all our paper work and hang about till another room was found.
Now I know I'm turning into a bitter and twisted old bird lol the older I get the worse I get no danger on that. Am I really wrong in thinking that these people could not arrange a pish up in a brewery, let alone be allowed to run our lives.
Just had to get this off my chest, if I hadn't have given the man we went to meet a good old ear bashing I would have sued for wasting my time lol.
