Please ensure that Celestine gets this, Chaz. This is pure porn for her !!!

Does he elaborate on the Higgs thingy later ? (He said - hoping that those who know the truth will convey it) Just like FB, I'm cr@p with You-Tube !!!

He seems to be avoiding the placement of the final piece in the puzzle - or did I miss that particular [sic] billionth of a second of his enthralling lecture ? These fundamental particles are so damned elusive, aren't they ?

Isnt a Higgs Boson a crewman on HMS Higgs?

                  No - that would be a Higgs's bosun or a Higgs's boatswain.

I suspect that Wales and Cloggy have already identified yet another particle - perhaps the anti-matter version of the Boson. I bet that b100dy bosun's chair was going at a helluva lick to have unseated the bugga !!!

And - don't forget we have our own particle accelerator here in good Olde England - and it's been around for much longer than CERN, a mere upstart. With typical British reserve - down in deepest Dorset, the giant Cerne accelerator (after which CERN was obviously named) has been carrying out countless experiments with those tiny 'God' particles for centuries. 'Tis known that any couple who wish for children have only to 'collide' upon the giant's phallus, and children will ensue - such is the power of this massive particle accelerator. The name 'God' particle probably came from the sounds which emanate from the more successful - yet very secret - collision experiments that take place upon this green and most pleasant piece of England.

                    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cerne_Abbas_Giant

A local delicacy known as 'Dorset Knobs' is also enjoyed around these parts - presumably in celebration of the potency of the Cerne Accelerator.
