    Re: Any comments...ATOS & GPs

I had an ATOS medical at home, asked for by DLA tribunal.
The GP didn't ask anything much off the form and concentrated on only one minor disability.
I lost the Tribunal because of his report/medical.
Complained to ATOS. They upheld my complaint and said they'd contact DWP. 10 months later DWP still hadn't contacted me about the sham medical, when I put in a complaint about Maladministration they rang and advised me to 'apply again'.
Reported the ATOS GP to GMC. They upheld my complaint and banned him from doing any more ATOS medicals altho he could carry on daily as a GP???

However, it is my understanding that those who carry out the WCAs are being investigated by the GMC, NMC and HCPC.

Be in absolutely no doubt, the GMC can strike doctors off the register for doing these WCAs. One GP who used to carry them out for the DWP's forerunner, the DHSS, was repeatedly finding in favour of the DHSS at appeals when the evidence indicated to the contrary. The GMC found the GP guilty of serious professional misconduct. The GP was struck off the register for six months, required to work under supervision for the two years after the striking off period ended and banned from carrying out medicals of a similar nature for life.

I wrote to DWP under FoI and asked how many medicals this GP had done for DWP/ATOS over a certain period, how many people has passed due to his report and how many failed.
They said they didn't have to answer my question because it would cost more than £600 - this seems to be DWP response to any request for info.
I wrote to ATOS and DWP to ask which one of them I sue for making my medical problems worse.
DWP ignored me, ATOS said they are only doing what DWP request them to do so I can't sue them....

Also, it potentially invalidates an employer's Employer's Liability Insurance. It is a criminal offence to employ persons without a valid certificate of Employer's Liability Insurance. very grateful for this info.
Job seekers say I am unfit to work but DWP (ESA) said I was. However I fall over a lot etc and wonder what would happen if I hurt myself more or hurt someone else when falling.
In the even the ESA GP awarded me 12 points. The DWP decision maker then reduced the 12 points to 6.
A tribunal increased them to 18 and said DWP should not call me for another 18 months. 7 months later I have a new form to fill in. CAB said DWP don't have to do what a tribunal says so why do we bother going to them?
I really believe that ATOS/DWP are trying their hardest to increase suicide rates - perhaps they get a bonus for each ne of us who takes that way out because we can't cope any more.
