        Thanks for all you're kind words everyone, it has certainly been an upsetting experience, especially as I had other tragic news last week about a good friend.

        Anyways on the up-side, I didn't know but one of the other business owners on the site here has a shitz tzu bitch that gave birth to four puppies last week, I've just found out that my hubby went to view on of them earlier on, a little girl, dark gold colour, of course he doesn't know that I know and I'm saying nothing.

            Sorry to hear about all this, matey. I don't do dogs (if you'll pardon the admission) - but I caught the joy in the pics that Turbo posted for you. I'm so sorry that the little guy had problems, and FWIW I agree with what you did for him - it's a bugga that it was YOU that had to make such a decision because his original owners weren't able or prepared to take that responsibility.

            Having met the good Mr S. a coupla years back, I'm not surprised at his kindness in viewing a replacement candidate.
