  • Introducing .....

We got a new dog yesterday, hopefully to be a nice brother to our Maltese x Shitzu called Bailey.

The new one is now called Bobby and is a Pomeranian x Maltese, he's 11 months old and was being re homed because.... wait for it.... his owner was pregnant ffs, I do wish people would think before they buy a dog and kids and all that, anyways he settled in quite nicely, so far so good, he's having his gonads removed on Friday, yes gentlemen you can cross your legs and say ouch lol.

Pictures to follow, as soon as Turbo can do them because it needed re-sizing and he can do that stuff I can't do.

The top picture is the one taken at the house where I picked him up from, the second two pictures were taken in our office.

Thank you Turbs for helping me to post up the pictures.

Bobby looks absolutey gorgeous but I cannot see any Pom in him at all. I think his large frame looks more like a german Spitz they are often confused with Poms. Bailey and Bobby do look very much alike and hopefully they will get along famously especially once he has had his bits removed. Xxxx

i dont understand giving a dog up cos you have a baby on the way, there is nothing more rewarding in this world than the love between a kid and their dog!
It is the natural friendship, kid + Dog = friendship made in heaven!

Luckily he has a Sapphy who has given him his other natural best friend.. another woofer!

                  Stunning little dog

                    Re: Introducing .....

I have news, sadly Bobby wasn't the lovely doggie that we thought he was, he obviously had behavioural issues and that's why his previous owners sold him, the last week or so we have had some real problems with him, ie: attacking and biting the postman, leaping a four foot fence and terrorising next doors dog, howling like a banshee when we went out for a couple of hours and worst of all our poor Bailey was a complete nervous wreck.
The last couple of days we have talked, discussed and in the end we had to make the hardest decision of all, anyway he is now with a lovely lady in Billericay who is a Dog Behaviour Specialist, she actually said that with careful training he will be an excellent agility dog and is so nice she will be keeping us informed as to how he's getting on.
My apologies for being so very quiet but I'm sure those of you that know me will understand how sad we both are about this decision.
The good news is that my hubby has said that to give it a while and when we both feel ready again we will consider looking for a replacement, I will though go through a reputable centre or breeder and not go through the internet as when I saw him my heart ruled my head.

(((((((((((hugs))))))))) sweetheart,,I know how wretched you must be feeling but FWIW I think you have absolutely done the kindest, fairest thing for Bobby,Bailey + Marble,,and done it quickly.Hopefully Bobby will find a new human who he fits in with.

(Sorry,,cocked up the post so there's a silly great gap)

So sorry to hear that new hun, I know how much you were looking forward to your 2nd dog and Bobby seemed to be a perfect for you and Les as company also to Bailey until the cracks started to appear. You have made the right decision for you and Les so move on from this. Try going to a rescue home /RSPCA there is one in Southend a gentleman from round our way just adopted a lovey puppy just under a year old from their. Bobby was certainly very energetic and able to jump high fences that some feat for a smallish dog. <<<hugs>>>>>>>>

Perhaps he'd been made lighter by being castrated? msl:
