I've only been to Brighton once, when my brother was at Uni, and I don't remember very much - other than a 70's theme nightclub, swimming in the sea at 3am then being in some Surfer Dude's transit van.... lol, good times Point being I don't know any pubs either.

I think Jules and I will be down late Friday night or Saturday morning.

Yes that is exactly what I mean lol. Cel will have to tell me the pub name etc as I have not got a clue about Brighton and the pubs and Turbs is not going to be able to check them out as he did so eloquently in York last year..................some new members wont know anybody so of course we would want to welcome them and introduce ourselves.

One member has contacted me by PM and who cannot make Saturday but would like to meet any of you who are down on the Friday, if you are going on Friday and you would like to meet other members who do not know any of us please let me know.

assume you mean a get together on arrival pub session... rather than a formal handshaking double cheek kissing line up ...... I do hope so lol.

WOW - 23 to date.... a good turn out and there is still time for more peeps to join us.

I will try and co-ordinate this with Kate etc as she had not mentioned anything to me as yet. Also, she needs to let us know what time we are meeting up and if there is going to be a welcoming meet and greet followed by one of cels musical quizzes (if she does and was like last year I think I got 2/50) lol.

Tutts - are you co-ordinating things menu wise/times/payment etc with Kate ?

I've got this list together from the thread.... we'll need menu options and payment from everyone asap.....shout if I've got the list awfully wrong.

AC, Cel has booked and confirmed it,, I fully suspect we chose on the day and possibly pay on the day, but will ask Cel to confirm this for us all.

who do I give our menu selections to?

Looking forward to meeting you at long last Dougal and your good lady..... we will definitely add you to the dinner party list. I believe Cel has booked it for 7pm but will confirm on this thread nearer the time when we have finalised all the plans.

Hi everyone,

We should be able to make the dinner, and as we only live about 20 miles away this should not present a problem, I am oiling the tandem this weekend, and I have bought an extra pair of cycle clips for my lady (secondhand - the cycle clips that is!!)
