Had I had the chance, I'd certainly not have missed her like those idiots did at Brighton.

I think it mad though that most of the people who "celebrated" in London this weekend were too young to remember her
Yes. I believe that they were prematurely celebrating the end of an error.

I'm playing the grammar nazi card on this one: I think it was idiot at Brighton that the plural idiots. To be honest, she got lucky that night and some might have agreed with your sentiment but their words would need to be spoken by an actor

I don't think people understand your humour CC

Jon, in the last week I have aligned myself to Al Qaeda so it is not too far a step to align myself to the Provo's on this thread if we are going down the line of bombs and the Provisional IRA in regards to Maggie

Do we want to talk about collusion with the RUC? Do we want to talk about harrassment of the Irish nationals over here during the 70's and 80's? Do we want to talk about censorship by not allowing the leadership of Sinn Fein to speak without the voice of an actor? I understand the sentiments of what CC said but it might not be for the same reason though.

Sure talk all you want. The act of planting bombs causing death and destruction is not an acceptable basis for so called humorous remarks IMO, perhaps I am wrong.

There has just been a few blasts in Boston I believe death count is 3 so far , go on knock yourself out.

The reason behind the bombings is always the issue. If the Brighton bomb is linked to the Boston one(and there is a big Irish community over there) then we can go there.

Shall I start(and do I get banned from this thread yet :o )

Just got a call from my wife who was running in the Boston Marathon.

She said they had a blast and she can't feel her legs.

Glad to hear she's having a good day.

I think the issue is the people whose lives are lost/ wrecked by the explosion, some of who do not have a clue about any causation.

No your quite safe people don't get banned from this forum for having poor taste I find.

But in the original reference to Brighton, we did know the causation, did we not?

Yes and i suppose that eventually we will know who is responsible for the latest atrocity, so that will make it OK?
