Re: new cats?
Yep,,don't bother trying lol,,just make sure little girl is eating and drinking then let her get on with it. She is being a Diva,,my Millie still does it and shes 8!! Patch has lived with us for 4 years and she still hisses and growls at him. She'll soon shut up when she hasn't got an audience lol

Re: new cats?
Yes thats very understandable your femaile cat has visitors on her teritory. They will eventually settle down and you will find them all sleeping together before long. My daughter says try and distract them with toys and keep them apart for a bit until they settle down. They must be very unsettled as cats are not good with new enviroments.
Good Luck x

Re: new cats?
Had a cat (by accident) for 18 years until earlier this year (and two dogs still with me). Any dog could come in. No cat was allowed anywhere within 500 feet of the property. And she wasn't polite enough to hiss - rendering and tearing could well be involved if it didn't get the hint fast. Good luck with the "eventually all settling down and being friends". If she's anything like my Guinan was - a bloody horrible cat, to be honest - the vistors may not live long enough.... Not sure how I survived it to be honest - she didn't like me much either!

Re: new cats?
Millie was an only cat for a while,,I inherited Patch when stepkids Mum decided he was too much effort.
Patch tried to befriend Millie,,Millie tried to kill Patch lol yet when Patch had his accident Millie pined for him,now Patch can't go out Millie stays in a lot to persecute him.
When Inca and Winston arrived as kittens Millie decided they weren't staying either, 2 years later they are still in residence.
Millie once had 3 kittens,I say once because thats the only time she went near them, she had them on my brand new duvet and covers!!,then decided they were boring and walked off. I had to hand rear them and literally pin her down for the first few days to let them feed. They survived and were happily rehomed with lovely people.

Re: new cats?
How are the cats today.... is world war 3 over yet?
Did you take my daughters suggestion and play with them as often this will distract them from being dominant over the other. It is a surprise though if the two cats that came together suddenly have taken humbridge with each other. The quicker they learn to live together again the better for your sakes. I often find distractions like treats works fantastically.
