Old Mother Inca (My much missed Mummy) was a demon moneysaver,,had to be,6 hungry gobs to feed.Washing powder + boiling water,dunk ya cutlery in,comes out sparkling.Hot water n vinegar cleans ya windows and mirrors(wiped off with newspaper)Talcum powder brushed through hair will make it last another day before washing.Bicarbonate of soda made into a paste cleans the grubbiest hob. Use fruit net bags scrunched up as scourers.and so on............

Think of how lovely the snow will look with the sun shining on it, and what an excuse to make a good hearty stew with dumplings and loads of taters! (tatties north of the border)

When I worked, I had (and still have) a great friend called Nik who was from Harare! (I hope that is spelt right cos BOY am I gona look a muppet if I have mispelt that one) He is the tallest guy I have ever met (remembering the Ex is 6'7) and has the biggest heart!
