  • you didn't expect that did you?

Yesterday, I was chatting to some friends, and I mentioned im halfway through knitting hubby a scarf, one friend said "I never saw you as a knitter!"

Made me think about how people percieve us...people must have this vision of a long tall bird in a karate gi dragging 3 kids about Asda with a cat on her head!

Well I bet you didn't expect to hear:

1: I'm terrified of birds mice and feathers
2: I am semi fluent in 5 languages (but I cannot for the life of me write or read in them!!)
3: my childhood ambition was to drive a HGV, and I'm saving up to do it!

let's hear a few facts about you that we wouldnt expect

And just for a blatant babe fest, here is some Aha.. My favourite song btw

      a few more things...

I have a lifelong fear of German Shepherd dogs, to the point where I freeze and refuse to move when im near them. This is due to being mauled by one as a kid. However, I spent the first 2 years with Mr R living in a house with 2 GSDs!

I cannot stand tea, I drink coffee, this is cos my Dad was Irish and drank tea so strong it melted the spoon.

Biologically I only have a brother, but I have "Adopted" 6 close friends and now have 3 brothers and 4 sisters, plus countless neices and nephews, and God help the person who tries to tell me they are not my family!!

We all had a huge family gathering, and one of the women (I didn't know) was being hassled outside by some random bloke. Brother M's husband approached and said "Thats my wife, hook it!" to make the man leave her alone.
This woman turned out to be M's real mum from Australia, so D is married to both my brother and his mother in law!! To add to this confusion, long before I met Mr R I lived with D's twin!!!
If you can work this one out let me know

I once spent a day at Limehouse station, telling jokes and playing the radio down the PA as there had been a derailment and we had no idea what was going on. As the night drew darker, the jokes got fruitier. The trains eventualy started running and I got to go home.
A few days later we got a letter from Clarence House saying the Duke and Duchess of Kent had thoroughly enjoyed the "Entertainment" during the disruption.
