Re: For all Parents.. and those happy they arent!

I'm just waiting for someone to post up a picture of a 'kid carrier' with a big spike on one end..........

    :heh:
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

I know you buy the most expensive toys and what do the kids play with.... and the cats, the dog the cardboard box. Today a package arrived in a lovely cardboard box, both cats have been over to inspect it, jump in it and generally have some fun.

If only we could find a way of selling these boxes suitable for a playtoy we could mint it.

Oh you wait, you get a few years peace and then BAM friggin grandkids come along and it starts all over again msl:and remember you natural parents have it easy, you should feel sorry for us step-parents, not only do we have to put up with the above, we also have to gain their trust, forge friendships with them and then when an argument starts you always get the following thrown at you 'you're not my mother'.

Aint that the truth Sapphy,,I have the dubious honour of being the 'wicked stepmother' too and it's no bowl of cherries..I applaud all step parents cos it's a long rocky road no matter how much you try.Am not a grandmother yet and hopefully won't be for a few years to come,Jack openly admits he's too selfish to have kids for a good few years.

That picture is an actual reality a lot in my house at present MissFM,,Winston and Inca are jet black and we are slowly getting through boxes and boxes of my late dad in laws stuff,,and every flipping box has to be investigated by all 4 cats,,slept in by 4 cats,,scratched at by 4 cats, and when suitably ravaged, totally ignored by 4 cats lol
