I have been on Ompersole for many years and it does help so don't worry about staying on it for ever.

You take care now and continue on the road to improvement.
My GP is taking me off Omeprazole with effect from today. Turns out I am intolerant to it. They're going to try me with a drug called Lanzoprazole instead.

Just a few words from an ex-cabbie. You know how much I 'ate coppers.

But - you're missed, you sod.

Take it easy, and let the drugs do their work. At least they're street-legal.

Thank you, Bill. So far, touch wood, the Lansoprozole hasn't caused an adverse reaction. The adverse reaction to the Omeprazole was horrendous.

Do you mean Trimethoprim? I am unaware of and cannot find any drug by the name you mention.

I have intolerances to opiates and Ibuprofen which means I have to wear a Medic Alert-type pendant around my neck and carry a card, which I have designed, to warn anyone finding me unable to speak as what is wrong with me. I have produced two cards which relate to my Fibromyalgia which read -

"Apologies for the loss of sound. Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible," for when my speech deserts me without warning. That normally raises a laugh when I show people the card.

                            The other card reads -

"I am not drunk and I am not on drugs. I have Fibromyalgia. Please call an ambulance." This stops the uninformed from mistaking me as drunk or suffering the effects or illicit substances, as happened once.

Invest in a Medic Alert bracelet or pendant, Inca. It sounds like you have an allergy or intolerance to opiates, as I have. In my case, it affects my breathing.

I have a bracelet on BB cos I'm also completely allergic to nuts and have to carry an Epi-pen.Only found out about tramadol by taking the blooming things and ending up in A&E, itching like a looney. My son is allergic to lavender of all things.
