Can we have somewhere either a) more central to all of us, especially those of us who live in the southern half of the country or b) somewhere that is easily reached by air from stansted and a a few other airports. For me personally to drive to say Manchester would cost me £100 plus in petrol or £70 ish in rail fares and/or around 5-6 hours travelling time.

Well from Birmingham Aiport Ryanair only go to Shannon or Dublin, so thats me out....rudolfBMI do a few more but I wouldn't get on their planes for all the tea in China, noxious fumes and cabin staff refusing to fly on them - no thanks lol. Or was that Flybe?

Ok so not Ryan air, maybe other airlines, railways etc etc. Pk is a clever boy (and has plenty of time on his hands), perhaps he could do a survey or something and organise a meet that suite loads of us.

Yes I think maybe "Northern Get together" was the clue, if it's going to be a site get together then it has to be arranged properly and in a place we can all get to without too much trouble and expense.
I think it has been tried before and failed lets hope we can get one of the ground this time.

Yes, I'll defintely have to get to a meet one of these days, probably can't do an overnighter, what with kids and cats and ponies and stuff, but will try my best. Or we could just go to Dublin??? lol

There's a nice pub down the road from me.......lol. There's also lots of Chav City type places which should be avoided like the plague

I am sure if there is enough positive interest and definate's a good meet to suit MOST (lol) of us can be arranged.
You can not please all of the people all of the time is a very good motto me thinks lol

I kid you not. Check out www.chavtowns.co.uk West Brom is on there, so are most places in the UK I think. Some of its hilarious, but sadly very true...
