Re: Who Should Be New England Manager

Okay in for a penny n all that, so they sacked McLaren and Venables, they now need to reinstate Venables as manager. He had the job before and was the only one in the past 40 yrs who had the influence over the player and the balls to sack the poor performing premadonnas. He only lost the job cos he was accused of corruption, which he was then cleared of. Get him back and England might start winning again.

    Best wishes,
    Hod...Liam..

arrrrrrrr maaaaaaan, he aint ever done nowt, never promoted a team, relegated a few and no more than a mid table manager.
He even post out to Rob Kelly @ the beginning of 2006.

Get a grip people, Sam Allardyce(not tainted with bribery, eh? Not sued the BBC Panorama programme either). Harry Redknapp, interesting idea. Stuart Pearce, maybe slightly young at the moment. Jose will not take the job, it is not what he wants at the moment. There is the Italian world cup winning manager who is a free agent at the moment. Terry Venable, good choice but again getting on.
And Stevokenevo----What GOOD Scotsman in their right mind would manage England?

Brave scottish lass but could you stand the shame in Scotland? I know there are 2.5 million reasons why.

IMHO, i think (and dont laugh) Graeme Souness would be an excellant appointment.

He has the strength of character to impose himself on the players, and get the results required.

Although, if the rumours are right, when Alex McCleish leaves the scotland post Souness will be straight in there if he's still out of work.

PS just remember, until VERY recently you has a scotsman in charge of the FA
