  • Is everyone here dog lovers?

I love theme of dogs for the site as I do love dogs, well all animals really. I can't have a dog due to my lifestyle but I am currently employed by a cat.

Dogs have owners, cats have staff....

No, we are not all dog owners or animal lovers. I am, I adore dogs, but not so for everyone here. I'm not sure how the name came into being to be honest. :beagle::beagle:

      Hiya,

There's lots of us on here that love dogs, I've got a Malshi (Maltese x **** Tzu) called Bailey, 2 tabby cats (Marble and Mackerel) Mackerel is allegedly stressed is on anti depressants every day and special food to help the crystals in his bladder, which is allegedly caused by the stress, oh and a pond full of very large Koi Carp.

Do you know wha is stressing out your cat? Have you tried one of those plug in things that are meant to be calming?

I came up with the site name. I am an animal lover and at that time had a beautiful Parsons Jack Russell.

Legal Beagles was a play on words. Many people refer to Legal Eagles. I preferred Beagles!

I also like to think of it meaning dogged determination, snapping at the heels of the lenders, terrier like persistence and loyalty, sniffing out useful information to share, digging up the dirt and peeing on the bankers smart suit trouser leg!! :beagle::beagle:
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

Oh believe me we'vee tried everything. Whats stressing him is that we got Bailey, then we've had major building work in the house and the place has been a non stop hive of activity for a couple of years, its coming to an end soon though.
I've felt so bad for him, at one stage he was pee'ing blood, he must have been in so much discomfort.
Tablets he's on are Amitryptline (I think thats how its spelt).

Sorry to hear about your cat and hopefully he will recover soon and once things settle down. The only other suggestion I can make is to feed a wet diet - the usual cat food but in jelly. A vet once told me that a dry food diet can cause bladder probs but especially in male cats.

Thanks for that, he's on Hill C/D diet, the one especially for cats with bladder problems, £41 for 5kg bag grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Re: Is everyone here dog lovers?

Have owned a few lovely dogs over the years, more so when I lived at home with mam and dad, I loved my dad's former police dog, a german shepherd called Jason, adorable.
I own a black Tom Cat, love him to bits too, he's my baby, maybe in time I will think about a dog again.

My son went along to Birminham to the Crufts show over the weekend, my son's GF is a BIG lover of all animals but adores dogs so much.

Sapphy hope your cat will be better soon.

I think Legal Beagles is a fab name for the site.

I'm an animal lover and think the name of the site is great, seeing as it was inspired by a Parsons Jack which since chatting on here I have realised I own one.......
