Cheers PJ. Don't know whether I'll actually get to Wembley now. I don't have a season ticket (cos i work there for Ladbrokes). Ticket allocation is 33000. We have 24000 season ticket holders, members etc. plus tickets will be on sale to anyone who buys a new season ticket for next year. Season ticket holders can only get one ticket each, so I'm stuffed. ******!

Looks like our game will be on the Saturday lunchtime. So I'll probably have to watch it on the tv.

Luke Steeele is doing a brilliant job for you. All the best against Cardiff. See you in the final!

And our game is on bloody Grand National day, and time off from Ladbrokes is banned on that day. So I'm stuffed. Will just have to floorwalk whilst watching the game on telly and pretending to work. Only gotta do 4 hours though, so might volunteer to do 8 - 12. Except we don't open till 9. I'll have to come up with a cunning plan.:tinysmile_grin_t:

Re: FA Cup---The magic of it on the road to Wembley.

My cunning plan is in place. Helped out big style last week when they were short on staff, and volunteered to do all day tomorrow, on condition thatI can have a two hour lucnhbreak between 12 and 2, going down the pub to watch the game. sod the Grand National!

have decorated the shop for the race, red and white corporate colour balloons for the race.

And a bloody massive Albion flag hanging from the ceiling, blue and white balloons, chalk boards saying
"Come on you Baggies, The Lord is our Shepherd, Lets Boing Boing Back to Wembley"
          amongst other things.
OH and Son are going to the game, setting off at 6.30 in the morning.

We are the underdogs, no doubt. We can only hope we give a good account of ourselves.
The lads did me proud last week, coming from behind to win 4-3. Especially as I'd got money on that scoreline and it came in at 100/1. £25 quid thankyou very much lads. Lets hope we show the same fighting spirit tomorrow.

Good luck PJ, hope to see you in the Final against us.

Sorry to update this thread, Wendy B but the Baggies are out of the Cup. so Portsmouth are there for the first time since 1939.
Will it be North v. South or England v. Wales final?

Yep, the adventure is over but the lads did great, at least they made a good game of it, pity Kanu never managed to score when he was an Albion player. And as for baros, the cheating handballing git......

Never mind, promotion is the name of the game now. I had a tenner at 8/1 at the start of the season, so come on you Baggies.
