So we are onto the quarter finals of the FA Cup and on Saturday there is Manchester United vs. Portsmouth and Barnsley v. Chelsea. Then Sunday's double header begins with Middlesbrough v. Cardiff and Bristol Rovers v West Brom.

Can Barnsley knock Chelsea out of the competition? Can Jermain Defoe provide the fireworks for Portsmouth? Will Hasselbank return to haunt Middlesbrough? And can the only Division One team left in the cup make it to the semi finals?
All will be revealed this weekend.

Well I have to say Good Luck to all the teams involved. Except Bristol Rovers.

I will be in the pub on Sunday watching the game. My state of mind/headache/etc on Monday morning depends on what the result is. A trip to the new Wembley would be nice. last time i was there it was a great day out but a crap result.

And all I can say Wendy is that I've just walked in the door after a fantastic night out - the crowd in Barnsley were absolutely elated and it was fantastic to be a part of it................its not often we get this far, so it really is a big deal for us

Has the wizard of the FA Cup cast a spell this weekend because Cardiff are winning at Middlesbrough 2:0.

Portsmouth are the ONLY premiership team in the FA Cup. This is a weird and wacky FA Cup season and this is the first beagles thread on this topic. Seem like a good luck charm for the underdog.

Well, it looks like West Brom are going through and in a weekend in which goalkeepers have done the business and defences have won it for the underdog, Bristol's defence has been awful. Poor decisions and poor keeping.

Well Barnsley have drawn Cardiff, leaving West Brom to play Portsmouth. As far as I'm concerned we've got the best draw....if we'd drawn again West Brom we wouldn't have been able to have Luke Steele in goal and he's done a top job for us

Best of luck against Pompey Wendy!
