Jenny, I totally understand what you are saying cos I am a little bored so I have been watching any old crap on the telly, re watched x factor(still the same result), Eastenders again(well that was no different) and then watched Songs of Praise and sang along with everyone else and ALL because I WAS BORED BORED BORED BORED.
Apart from that it has been a fascinating day in the house!!:carrot::beagle::carrot:

I have just done my usual superwoman impression, started my own one man campaign against one (or rather two) of the hugest banks in the country, nay the world, transformed my lounge into a swathe of sleek suede with a tin of paint and a 2" paint brush, created a gastronomic delight with a chicken and a bag of spuds and lovingly nursed my poor post operative husband.

      No, nothing exciting.

Bloody hell jan...fancy sorting out global warming tomorrow??

        :roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::r oll:
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

Re: im bored, has neone been up to anything excited

Did an autumn fair yesterday, had to walk down with all the stuff and then walk back up the hill (nay mountain) carrying it, so today my shoulders are killing me. Then decided to do some work, but it seems that the server had gone down and so none of us were able to work.

Done about a month's worth of washing and ironing today, I can now see my kitchen floor.

Inbetween ironing and such like, I have been keeping a close eye on the Highways Agency website, monitoring the M5 and M6 cos the other half and his mum were on their way back home, managed to tell them about the bad accident and standing traffic a couple of junctions before they reached it, so they could come off the Mway and rejoin further up.

So the EU washing pile is gone, Mount Everest has been ironed, smelly dirty kids are bathed and the other half is now home safe with us.

So a pretty quiet and boring weekend here too!

Re: im bored, has neone been up to anything excited

This weekend I've been out taking pictures all weekend! I reckon I've taken about 1,000 pics this weekend, probably 10% of which will be any good (if I'm lucky). NOT, before any smarty pants says, because I'm a bad photographer, just that I was shooting fast moving stuff, and low light stuff as well.

Still had a bloody good time in sheffield with some peeps from a photography forum, and a great time at an equestrian event yesterday.

Apart from that, working hard () and playing harder

Jenny whereabouts in Essex are you hun, I'm based there as well. Wahaaaaay we have 2 Essex girls on the site.

OK my weekend, Food shopping on Saturday, then home for a siesta and out for dinner at The Greenhouse in Leigh. Sunday, oh yes the other half has shampooed the upstairs carpets ('cos my broken foot won't allow me ), brunch out, and home to settle in front of the TV.
                        Not a bad weekend really.

Paradox, didn't know you were into horsey stuff. Competing or watching? Or photographing?

photographing and watching, have to admit, I quite enjoyed it. Would've enjoyed it more if it wasn't -10 with the wind chill though

Tell me about it! Seem to spend half my life freezing my ***s off either watching my duaghter compete or traipsing up and down the track to our field. Why oh why couldn't my kids have chosen a nice warm indoor sport??/ First it was countless years standing on the touchline at football with Lewis (and even been known to run the line as well), now its equestrian with Jess, and believe me, even the indoor events are cold...
