  • "Macho Man" Randy Savage dies aged 58, RIP

Ok this is kinda retro but anyone who remembers when Hulk Hogan was in what was called the WWF knows about Macho Man Randy Savage.

Former WWF wrestler 'Macho Man' Randy Savage, 58, has died following a car accident in Florida.

Savage's brother Lanny Poffo confirmed the news with, who explained that Savage suffered a heart attack while driving with his wife.

Savage is believed to have subsequently lost control of his Jeep Wrangler, and veered through oncoming traffic before colliding head on with a tree.

Savage's wife Lynn was only mildly injured; however, the wrestler was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries.

A statement posted on WWE.com read: "WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of one of the greatest Superstars of his time, Randy Poffo, a.k.a. Randy 'Macho Man' Savage.

"Our sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends. We wish a speedy recovery to his wife Lynn. [He] will be greatly missed by WWE and his fans."

The wrestler's career spanned more than 20 years, during which time Savage won seven heavyweight titles, including two in the then WWF and four in the now defunct WCW.
