Mr & Mrs D Duck, Donald & Daisy stopped by for breakfast last week and I think they are here to stay. Daisy is obviously with egg or eggs lol can't wait to see the little ens.

Well Donald and Daisy are the proud parents of no less than 13 little ens, well that was this weeks count. How many survive only time will tell but they are so lovely to watch, forgot me camera (what a surprise) will take their pics next week they be doubled in size too by then.Comment

When I travel through Totteridge Lane to work there is a lovey lake and this time of the year there are always baby ens..... following mum arround. So far I have not seen them but I am sure they will appear any day soon.

We are eagerly awaiting baby swans apparently the ones born last year did not survive. I am so pleased mum and dad are ok as I got the receptionist to phone RSPCA last year when one of the swans had a load of fishing line hanging from its beak. All was ok the swan was gone a while but the other never went far away must have know its partner would return. Signets would make my day as the river would not be the same without the swans.Comment

Well Donald seems to have done a bunk, maybe 13 offspring in one go was too much for him.
Daisy still with her babies, but sadly there are only 11 surviving out of the 13 now and my have they grown.Comment

Oh and going off topic just for a mo, here is our Tilly on the Promenade Express with her dad.
There are 3 trains one that goes along the prom, one along the pier and one that goes to funfair and back she does her level best to get on all 3 each Sunday and usually succeeds.
She is 36 soon so I think we may have to start saving up for the Orient Express for her 40th seeing as trains and food are her main loves lol.Comment

Here they are at last, my camera went on the blink I could only manage these 2 pics. Just before I did these 2 of the chicks were tucked up in mums wings on her back what a fab sight.Comment
