  • William Hague

    According to Wikipedia

" He was the first leader of the Conservatives not to have become Prime Minister since Austen Chamberlain in the early 1920s."

So now we have an incompetent Foreigh Secretary instead.

Slow to get the troops in to evacuate our nationals, quick to use the SAS to get diplomats arrested in Libya.

Hopefully another nail in the imploding coalition.

And then Michael Howard became the second person. Do you think every politician got it right?

Most people say Tony Blair lied to Parliament, lied to the British public and went into an illegal war........he still got a majority for leadership in the following election.

And he didn't make the same mistake as the LSE head in accepting money from Libya

As much as we might hate the coalition, I personally would prefer a credible opposition with just one idea rather than one who simply says, "it doesn't work, it doesn't work, it doesn't work".
Once we do then maybe the alternatives will look better which currently they don't.

Cant see what all the fuss is about tony blair yes there may not have been WMD's but the fact remains saddam was a butcher and committed genocide on countless occassions and hence why he was tried and paid the ultimate price.

In that respect tony blair was right to go in and bring peace to Iraq.

Just look at that country now and with talk off the tourist trade picking up.
If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of payments.
