    Good evening all.

Only been on briefly the last few days, I have pulled my back out yet again , but getting there slowly, I am unable to sit by the puter for too long though.

My cousin and his wife had a little baby girl last Friday, she weighed in at 7pounds exactly, and what a lovely darling too.

      Happy and relieved today.

Mum had her yearly breast mammogram last Monday and today was the results, and its all good.
Mum had breast cancer a few years back and had a masectomy, which is why she has yearly checks.
My youngest sister also had breast cancer the same time as mum, she was 31 then, and had a lumpectomy, she is due to go to her yearly mammogram shortly and with a bit of luck all will be good for her too. x

Lovely addition to the family, Di. Good news about your Mum, too. Let's hope it's good for your Sister.

Big bad C haunts us all, I guess. Maybe personally, maybe family, maybe friends. FWIW, I believe the biggest way to defeat it is by having the right mental attitude. Don't EVER let it see fear in your eyes, and don't EVER turn your back and ignore it. It thrives on fear and ignorance. Stand straight, and look it in the eye - and let it know that it will have a battle on its' hands if it decides to pick on you.

...then kick its' @$$ all the way down the street.

And yes I totally agree with you, and when it comes to my own tests, I will use a positive attitude, the remaining sisters have been successful with their own check ups as well, as you know I have a big family where the main of us are girls (6 girls and 2 boys), and even my dad even though unfortunately no longer here now due to other issues, he got through prostate cancer and taken it day by day.....and as always with a smile on his face.

                Good afternoon my lovelies.

A little late posting today, been feeling sort of fatigue but lots better now.

Over the last few weeks, where my son as an employment mentor have not been looking too promising, still ok for now, he applied for other positions just in case, one of them is within IT/Administration I think thats within a FSA dept, although not down London but one of the local offices just a few miles away from us.

He sent in his CV and received a call this morning, he has to undergo a credit check, and all go from there, so whatever my son decides, good luck to him, and I will support him all the way.
