LOL, well I don't know the plans they made to be honest, but I'm defo having a quiet one tonight.

You enjoy it, and have a nice long lie in tomorrow.:cancan:

My youngest son will be 16 on 15th Jan and my oldest son was 22 on 15th November.
So Winter babies, and my sister's recent baby was born last Tuesday, a little boy.

It does sound like you have a very interesting night to come Jester lol, however I cannot stand the smell of alcohol, yet I will have a little baileys now and again, and after one of them my head seems whazzed :reindeer:.

      Good afternoon everyone.

Its been raining here since last night and the snow have almost melted away!
      Thank goodness.

Well this morning our toilet got blocked :tinysmile_aha_t: and it was me that solved the problem.
It seemed the pipe had frozen a little, and the pressure of flushing wasn't there, so I came to the rescue of wrapping 3 carrier bags to the bog brush, pelted it in up to 3 times and down went the water.:santa_wink: Oh before that I put in some soda and bleach, it seemed to have done the trick.

My hubby tried the plunger at first but that did not work, and there was a queue outside the toilet door too lol, and we only have the one, I could picture us knocking on the neighbours door .......lmao.
      Arh well, all done now.

        Hi all

Well as I was starting to get cabin fever msl: after looking after himself who has had man flu, but is miraculously well enough to go to West Ham this afternoon. I decided to brave the sales locally, I've bought some lovely bright red cushions for the lounge and some paint as we start having our hall, stairs and landing decorated tomorrow, the decorator is also going to do the lounge ceiling for me and I'm going to do the walls, hey ho, its all fun, fun, fun in this house.

                              Hello everyone

Popped down the road earlier to the shops and when I got back there was a message flashing up on my answer machine.

On checking it was from Tracker, these are the ones who put on a Tracker on our Subaru Impreza we had a few years back, we no longer have this and sold it to Fords Garage for a Ford Focus Turbo diesel 2 ltr.

When hubby sold the Scooby car to Fords he passed on the details of the Tracker, cos we paid the full amount when we had this done, if anyone takes over and wants to continue with this they have to start up their own premium, so tracker would be left on the car but as well as new details of the new owner they have to pay to keep it going.

The message on the phone was automated and it said:

"There have been movement on your vehicle reg number XXXX XXXX, please contact us at this number or press to star button to confirm if the car have been stolen".

With hubby gone back to work today on afternoons, I rang them to let them know we have received the message but we no longer have the car, and have not done so since March 2010.
I explained all the tracker details were given with the car when we sold it on to the dealer of Fords, where they should have completed the bottom of the membership policy when it was sold on or cancel.

(The policy states when you sell the car, pass on the membership details to them, whether privately or a car dealer and they will complete from there).
However despite doing this my hubby did also ring tracker before selling the car and told him to do this, because hubby did say we were changing the car.

Anyhow, the guy at tracker then asked if i would complete the form to cancel the subscription, so i did so by completing the form online and then resending it back to them today.

What comes to my mind here, is, its been 9/10 months since we got rid of the Subaru and why have it taken this long for Tracker to get in touch about the movement of the car - if this have not been confirmed??

We are aware Fords sold our old car (Subaru by 2 days of them having this off us), so realistically if it was stolen how come its taken this long for them to pick up on a movement on the car?
Do you get my drift here?

Unless of course it have been stolen just recently, I do not know!
