My other half

Greetings All,

Allow me to introduce you to my other half lol.

She is a 6 yr old border collie called Ella and is my life in many ways.

She had an accident last October and was hit by a car this happened because she was chasing a cat lol.

She lost her knee joint as it was unrepairable so the vets who I must say were super had to fuse the two bone together and put a plate in.

This cost over £5000 in total but I had a good insurance policy that covers claims up to £12000 per year.

She is now fully recovered and this does not in anyway affect her mobility the only difference you can see is when she lays on her back for a belly rub one leg is bent at the knee and one is straight lol.

Anyway I love her to bits.

Indeed I have hear so many horror stories about vets but hand on heart on this occasion I cannot fault the vet at all he was brilliant.

I'm just so glad that I took the right decision when I brought her as a pup that I took out insurance because without that I could never of been able to afford the costs involved.

That insurance indeed ensured the best care for her.

Yes I thoroughly recommend insurance too, we have our dog and two cats insured.

Yes indeed not everyone can afford pet insurance, but I consider it most important even more so now because it has been proved in our case you never know what will happen.

And may I say specially with cats as they are natural roamers.

She's lovely PF. Typical border collie if she hares off chasing cats like a lunatic. I have a border collie cross who has never grown up lol.

Although as you may well know tomorrow is a big day for Pompey and indeed for the whole premier league if the judgement does not go in Pompey's favour.

It is day 3 and judgement day with the HMRC over Football player image rights.

Will be on sky sports news no doubt.

Going by your avatar I take it you are a horse lover ?

We had horses though out our childhood as our late dad was a horse lover heavily so in fact.

He was also a Royal Marine for 27 yrs lost him last year to cancer.

I remember Survival Sunday when you played us, all your fans had been in our club shop and were wearing our shirts, and cos you all hated Redknapp and wanted Southampton to be relagated, every time one of our players got the ball you were all singing "let him score let him sore let him score!"

Yes fond memories as I was there that day.

I was also at the last match Saturday gone as it was Linvoy Primus testimonial against Fulham which would you believe with our depleted squad we won 1 nil.
